All that money for a matchbox, sheesh

Yeah I hope to be in this range one day and I still wouldn't live in New York even if I made more than that. If you must experience the city I would just living ina cheaper surrounding area and travel when I want to enjoy the city life. Like an hour out of so.I make almost $200k a year and I live like a fukking pauper. NYC is no place to be if you aspire to save and build wealth. It costs too damn much.
shyts not even nice plus and filled with mentally illWhy would u want to with those prices? If you love the area you could just go there and visit all the time if you can afford to live out there. Use the money you would be paying to live out there as your savings for trips to go there. shyt is crazy

At some point though it stop being a question if you can afford it and whether just on principle is spending that much on rent is really worth it when there are cheaper options and you can use that money for something more fulfilling.
I make a fraction of that and live fairly well, just don't get to Dave much. No section 8 or anything like that.
