The question is, would African Americans accept those conditions today, or would fighting to the death to prevent it be out of the question?

Cacs express their unprompted opinions about us everyday for at least the past four centuries. Besides, we're not trying to win cac's hearts, we just need to create stable communities among ourselves and invest our wealth within these communities. It's hard to do so when cacs control almost everything, hence why we even talk about them in the first place.
Realistically, if we had to go against 60% of the population - say all of them turned against us, it would be really hard not to go extinct in America. But I don't think we would ever come to accept it, generally speaking.

A handful of individual trained black snipers across the country would hault any efforts towards extinction. Besides, if that were to happen, I can name 4 countys that would be happy to invade America in defense of African Americans.
