Could one argue that the speed limit signs are vague?

I seriously believe a person could argue total ignorance because of vague speed limit signs.

Standard unit of measurement in the US is MPH so legally the cop would be in the right if you went over 45 MPH. Only way you get away with it is if your a foreigner and your country uses km/h but then again 45 km/h is way slower than 45 mph so

I tried that in Canada it didnt work, I was doing 100 mph told the officer that the sign said 100 ... he didnt buy it

so u can't match the speedometer on your car with the speed limit sign?


Only way this works is if you're a foreigner and a cop doesnt feel like writing you a ticket

Speeding tickets are the easiest thing to beat breh. Just tell the court you want to take it to trial, and see what the cop can prove. 9 times out of they don't even show up Unless the cop has you at a minimum of 10 mph over the speed limit (most speeding guns have an error margin of +/- 7 mph), prove he used the gun properly, the most recent calibration, AND has it all recorded on video within his car, he can't prove sh*t, and as you are innocent until proven guilty, that means you walk. The ones you should let go are the out of state ones, because it usually ends up cheaper paying the $100-300 then going back to the hick azz county for a court date
