Could the WiiU have been a hit if NINTENDO were smart?

it has backwards compatibility and multiplayer (just not all features gamers expect)

they do, its the pro controller, but I agree, the tablet could have been considered an add on, and they shoulda bundled the system with both controllers.

The gamepad has grown on me especially with Mario Kart 8 off screen.

I don't think it could've been anywhere as big as the first Wii. Motion control fad has died and people still aren't buying it unless they love the first party games. The one thing they could have done better was market it better. I didn't know wtf a Wii U was until this year honestly..I assumed it was an addon for the original Wii and pretty sure a lot of others do too. A different name would have helped a lot.

ayeee the multiplayer on mario kart is pretty decent, voice chat andddd its free. n yes its backwards compatible.
