Could/would you ever be homeless?

let's say you hit complete rock bottom and lost your job and everything you owned. could you see yourself living out of your car? or laying down on a cardboard box on a sidewalk or at a bus stop? pushing around your belongings in a shopping cart? using public restrooms to wash up? standing near traffic lights and roaming around gas stations while asking people for money?


i dunno if i could do it brehs. if shyt absolutely hit the fan I'd have to tuck my tail in between my legs and move in with a family member or friend while i got back on my feet

Deadass would squat. I know nuggas that have been squatting in a mansion in the Hollywood hills for like 2 months. It's like 10 nikkas now in a 8 bedroom mansion

That sleeping under a bridge homeless shytting and shaving in public restroom is an absolute no go. I'd be sleeping in peoples cars. asking friends to let me come by and wash up etc...I'm way to soft for that shyt. I wont even shyt at work, bathroom hasn't been remodeled since the civil rights era. Homeless on that level is for druggies who don't give a fukk. The only time I was ever on that wave was when I lived in T Town with my cousin and all we did was drink smoke and rap from sundown to sun up. whole placed looked awful smelled like beer, weed and piss. And this was in a decent apartment we turned into a shyt hole by not giving a fukk. I honestly don't know how people do it. Before I'm sleeping on the streets. I'm on that omar wave robbing d boys.

Not trying to be mr. obvious, but homelessness isn't something you can totally control. There are sooooooo many different factors that could put you on the streets. There's no quick fix solution, there are plenty of homeless prostitutes for example.

Homeless in a place like maimi is probably more doable than homeless in Vermont or Chicago. It's scary as shyt either way since the homeless street community seems like it operates just like the prison community

My family is too big. If word got out i was homeless a lot of them would drive around looking for me. We always taken one another in. Ive taken one in myself for 2 months.

I was actually homeless for 8 months here in NYC last year.
Slept in my car til I got in a wreck at the end of april that totaled my car
it sucked at times
slept outside at times
but I had fun too

I now worked my ass off to the point I'm living in a nice apartment in brooklyn.

Being homeless inspired me more than anything.

You will never know the struggle until you get to that point of being rock bottom/

In 6 months I went from sleeping in my car to working on wall street.

That was the biggest motivator of my life.

I know how it was and never want to be there again!

There are actually imminent domain laws where if you squat in a place and pay minium of property tax in it for an extended period of time and fix up/do repairs, you can eventually claim the property as yours.

I squatted before, but that was technically the night before we moved out of our old crib, so it really don't count.

I never begged for change either.
I just hit up craigslist on my phone and find odd jobs
save up money go to the ymca for a couple of days
go to friends houses
stay at clubs
network
hang out at burger king and mcdonalds
hang out in my car
posting on the coli saved my sanity during those times.

Been homeless multiple times. Some by choice. Yes i could and likely will again. I don't like the system.
