Could you imagine how affordable life would be in America if all poor and working class areas outside the major cities had good transportation?

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Why does a poor person in the middle of nowhere town own a car?

These people should be using a $2 bus and train card or have a transportation budget or $100.

Poor people paying car notes, insurance, gas, tolls, car repairs

:scust:

Boston, NYC, Chicago and Dc have the least struggling poor people. They don’t got it as bad as others cause they don’t need to buy a car.

A few of us have been trying to get people in this country to understand that car dependency is terrible for everyone economically, socially and environmentally.

I AM NOT SAYING CARS DONT HAVE A PLACE IN SOCIETY.

What I am saying is CAR DEPENDENCY is terrible.

And I get tired of having to educate people that no, you don’t need a huge major metropolis to have great public transit.

And no, it isn’t that towns and America is spread out.

Historically we had trains and trams everywhere in America. Even in the boring small towns you all assume need cars to survive.

They were bulldozed to make room for cars and parking.

There are lots of websites and videos that show this history.

I’ll never convince these morons though.
