HOLD UP!

ESPN went trigger happy on this one and ended up retracting the story.

Correction: Dolphins story published in error

Correction: Dolphins story published in error

ESPN published an incorrect story on Monday involving Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Chan Gailey.

The story has been removed from ESPN.com, and replaced with this correction. The story was also mentioned on the 1 p.m. ET edition of SportsCenter.

No ESPN reporters reported on Gailey or the Dolphins, or were involved in the error, which was made internally.

ESPN regrets the error.

Dolphins media is filled with disloyal dikk riders, the 180 they did on Tua. :mjlol:

Rewatching the game highlights, Tua did piss me off. He waited till everything was decided to make the throws I wanted to see him make. :stopitslime:
He finally just said, fukk it, nobodies getting open, I don't care anymore, I'm throwing you the ball just go get it :mjlit:
If only he had that aggression from the beginning, I don't think they would have benched him at all. He got benched because of his timid decision making. That's why I don't think Gailey is getting fired. He did call deep passes, Tua just wasn't throwing those 50/50 balls till the last quarter of the season :snoop:

-I'm not opposed to drafting a transcendent stud o lineman as most are. It's not sexy but a stout line fixes so many offensive problems. Sure up your line, you have a accurate qb.

-The obvious need is play makers on offense. A slot WR and a WR that can take the top off the defense definitely needed. A punishing/ bruising RB that can get tough yds definitely a must.

-Devante is not a true #1 but he is a really good #2.

-Chan Gailey was ok but I don't think he was as horrible as some made him out to be. He obviously called a game differently for Fitz. Fitz read defenses and processed info quicker and better than Tua. Fitz also made bolder throws. Gailey didn't trust Tua and Tua didn't trust himself.

-Pump the breaks on the Tua slander. He was a rookie who played less than 10 games and came off of a major career threatening injury the previous year. Look at the Arizona, KC and Chargers games to see the upside.........

-Defense desperately needs an edge rusher BADLY and another LB.

Chan Gailey resigning helps Flores, right? I don't think he was going to fire him. Firing your OCs after a year, that's a horrible rep.v

Gailey was a good OC. I like what he was able to accomplish this year. Do you guys think they promote internally? Studesville and Godsey can be ready :yeshrug: I don't like the idea of giving Tua a 2nd system in his 2nd year. The same thing happened to Tannehill. :francis:

If we go the external route, Anthony Lynn :mjlit:

Looking at some of the comments on reddit and twitter, Tua stans are annoying. They are starting to remind me of Lebron fans that weren't real Heat fans during the Big 3 era. :hhh:

As some point we got to have some kind of continuity with our OC’s we can’t keep changing every year. I wouldn’t be mad if the hire was in house. Gailey wasn’t as trash as people make it seem, our offense was fukked from the beginning with no running game and receivers who can’t get open

Someone has to combat the non sense of saying Tua is “done” after one rookie season. Nobody has patience anymore.
