Someone has to combat the non sense of saying Tua is “done” after one rookie season. Nobody has patience anymore.

:yeshrug:
Any fan that says Tua's done after one season is a clown that should never be taken seriously. They just love misery and have become comfortable with our 2 decades of mediocrity. Pathetic. :unimpressed:
Tua needs to be praised and criticized when appropriate. For the Tua stans, nothing is his fault, all blame is because of someone else :francis:

A lot of teams are QB hungry

redskins
Panthers
49ers

I think we have to trade back and get more ammo

Do we take Smith at 3 and not over think this
Yes. Especially if we keep Tua and the Watson trade doesn’t happen. Tua already has familiarity with him and that would go a long way. Not to mention he’s someone you could get the ball to on short routes and he can get some YAC which gives us the ability to have big plays without having to throw downfield

What's y'alls take on some of these names being thrown around as possible OC?

I like what Shannahan is doing in San Fransico. I want Mike McDaniel if he's bringing that scheme here. It's built more on the run, so you're wide receivers and tight ends need to be good blockers, but it manufactures big plays. For a young QB, a better run game will probably help more.

If that's the list, Id rather Coach Flo promote from within and build on what we have and adding talent through the draft.

Addressing the Deshaun Watson thing.

I'm good with whatever the coaching staff and front office decide to do but if they dump Tua and go for Deshaun my only issue will be how much they are willing to give up for him. I understand DeShaun is 25 and a top 3 QB in the league (arguably) right now. Opportunity to get something like that doesnt come often. But i hear talks of people willing to shell out both the 3rd, 18th and Tua + other mid-round picks for DeShaun and to me that's a bit excessive.

Tua is a nice kid but i hope he's also resilient and watching all this and getting better to shut his critics up if he isnt traded. FitzPatrick is likely to be gone (doubt he re-signs as he been wanting to retire) so all eyes will be on Tua to produce at a high level. Especially when he now knows some of his teammates doubt him
