As noted, there have been some CM Punk chants at recent WWE shows following the news that Punk had walked out on WWE. At the WWE live event in Wichita this weekend, The Shield cut a promo about Punk, telling fans that they should be glad Punk went home.

Many people within WWE are said to be “not unhappy” that CM Punk is gone. There has been a lot of negativity towards Punk from various people that work behind-the-scenes in WWE.

We PWMania.com reported before that Vince McMahon is handling the Punk situation. Vince wants Punk to stay because he feels there aren’t many top Superstars on the roster right now.

Regarding Punk being unhappy about facing Triple H at WrestleMania XXX, Punk knew his contract expires in July and with people not expecting him to re-sign, he likely knew the direction that the match would go.
