Country can mean a thick southern accent or it can mean the way somebody does some shyt like wearing some long ass white socks with black shoes and denim Jean shorts that would be considered country.

What kills me though is these days you got nikkas from Atlanta or Birmingham and other southern cities that are even smaller than that calling nikkas from 20 minutes outside of those cities country boys when cats from NYC look at anybody past Jersey as country. It's a generational thing that they got from Trap rappers with the juug and finesse thing, because most old heads from they way would consider they city country.

Got mush mouthed nikkas like Gucci Mane and Young Scooter calling somebody country when 15 years ago you had Atlanta rappers that wore being country on their chest like a badge. What these dumb nikkas don't understand is that they are attempting to argue is rural versus urban but I doubt that they have even heard of those two terms.

Southern is just location, where you're from, being a southerner.

:mjlol:country is rural barely able to understand in some instances. Southern is just a southern upbringing.

Growing up in NY I didn't know the difference until I moved further down south and linked up with fam in Houston and ATL. They're southern but not country.

NO. Houston ATL Miami, nikkas are southern not country. Even in MD bmore nikkas call PG nikkas country but they dont call DC nikkas country
