For those who are Vaccinated state how your experience went with taking the vaccine. Maybe it can help some of the people who are on the fence in being vaccinated. I was on reddit and some of the experiences after the 2nd dose sound horrifying and there are some that have had good experiences.

First shot my shoulder hurt. I didn't experience any significant side effects, I maybe felt a little funny the night of, but nothing major

The second shot I had no complications at all. My arm didn't even hurt. The way everyone was talking about it I thought I was going to be taking a day from work. Didn't even need to.

Work in healthcare so I got my shot way back in December, got both Pfizer shots. I had zero side effects. I've recently been to multiple Yankee games with no mask, been to weddings, and have traveled. All my rapid tests have come back negative.

Moderna. Both doses didn't even feel the needle, just the vaccine being injected. No symptoms first shot, sore shoulder after second, but nothing like what @larsattack described. Cleared up after about 2 days. Lied and said the symptoms hit me hard just to take another day off :yeshrug:

My kind of people

Got Pfizer, and both shots were simple.

First shot, my shoulder was a little sore at the spot the needle went in, but no different than I remember any other shot being. No major side effects at all, really. I was a little tired the next day, but nothing too harsh at all.

Second shot felt like nothing happened at all. Although to be fair, I was pounding water through most of the day since I heard staying hydrated is key.

I think it's a matter of what your immune system is like, though. Mine might be pretty good, since I usually don't get the flu vaccine (because I hate needles), and I rarely if ever get the flu, and when I do, my symptoms are pretty mild. My lady on the other hand.....first shot hit her like a mack truck. A day after we got the first shot she started feeling effects, and was cooked for maybe a day and a half. It wasn't anything alarming, just like she had a pretty tough flu.

I'd say if you're concerned, try to schedule it around your weekend so you already have time off to handle whatever side effects you may or may not have. Anxiety over having other shyt to do on top of medical paranoia is a hell of a one two punch.

Moderna - the shot felt like nothing upon injection. Both shots my shoulder felt like someone hit me with a 2' x 4'. The second shot I had a decent fever(~101) but that went away after a couple days.

Been perfectly fine after that and fully vaxxed for over 2 months
