Romo didn't become a full-time starter until Y4 but had a .692 (27-12) win percentage thru Y6; Dakota is .624 (53-32)...

Romo took Dallas to the postseason two of his first three years as a starter, same as Dak; the only thing in Dak's favor is he's won a playoff game, 1-3 vs Romo's 0-2 thru Y6...

Both were 2x Pro Bowlers thru Y6...

For all intents and purposes they are the same QB thru 6 years. Neither play well vs great defenses or big stages, and both could get turnover-prone at the worst times. Neither were elite QBs but both were above average QBs you felt comfortable you could win with if you had everything else rolling right. You didn't think you were winning anything on the strength of either one of their arms...

Y7 Romo ('09) is when he really hit his stride and started flirting with elite territory, so next year is the year a substantial leap from Dak should be expected...
