Zeke was a beast out the gate and was a major reason for their success. They ran him into the ground shortening his career, extended him for too long, and didn't capitalize on his prime by winning a Superbowl.

Zeke was worthy of his draft spot. Jerry didn't do enough with the defense and coaches.

Didn't he have over 1k rushing yds that yr and was the featured player for that offense...but then they wanted to put up more points so they shifted to the QB after they already paid Zeke :gucci:

All of the All Pro, Pro Bowl, and HOF blockers Zeke was running behind either left ( Frederick retired ) or got old / hurt ( Tyron and La 'el ). Take away the all pro's up front and Zeke is just another dude who falls on the ground soon as you touch him. Cowboys had to move to a more Dak centric offense since Zeke legit can't get 4 yards a carry without AT LEAST 3 pro bowlers on the line.

Two things can be true. I think Jerruh believes with hindsight that Zeke was taken too high... But, don't think he's not saying this draft week for a reason. Who does Jerruh have his eyes on? BIJAN ROBINSON. He wants to put it in the air, RBs shouldn't be taken so high. So other teams might think on that. If Bijan slips to the teens Jerruh will think hard about trading up for him.

Of course they should’ve drafted Ramsey. They averaged 4.7 YPC the year before he got there with bottom 5 QB play that year. That’s how dominant that Oline was.

Jerry saw this and said we need a RB bro :heh:

They coulda drafted Ramsey and then drafted Henry in the second round :wow:
