Coworker got stiff armed trying to catch me off guard with an MLM offer

We were sitting in a work meeting chillin. we're cool and all and she's the only black female there. As we're choppin it up, I ask her what she's doing this weekend, to which she takes the opportunity to respond, "planning for life and investing in my retirement so I can live life stress free :smile:"

I hit her wit the:rudy: wit the quickness because her tone of voice changed and trust me when I say her response sounded planned as fukk, unlike my birth :mjcry:.

Anyway, I immediately call her out on it and just ask, "Is it an MLM? :jbhmm:". Breh, she literally took about twenty seconds while I stared at her lookin like :ld:wit her head bouncin side to side before I finally asked again. "Is it? :usure:". Wouldn't ya know, she caved in and just said "yea :shaq2:"
:mjlol:. I guess she didn't have and more planned and preempted jargon to funnel me down a structured path. That convo ended quick and got deaded right then and there and we were quiet the rest of the meeting :yeshrug:.

I remember one mlm wanted me to call 100 people to get them to sign up for shyt I didn't even know about in detail. I wasn't about ruin family or friends with this. Bailed at the last minute.

Plus it's creepy that the speeches come off like drug pitches because they"Can't get into details, but are ya interested in making money?"Legal loop hole where they can't advertise like most, but tell you that it's actually an innovative feature to spread by word of mouth.

They got my mom when she was at church :francis:
