yep, totally dismiss the fact that songs like these were played regularly on mainstream radio and on tv like Rap City:

well radio as a whole is in an incredibly shytty state, it's damn near like one big monopoly. so of course nowadays there is far less variety on the radio, because there are scores upon scores of good hip hop out nowadays, but fact is radio wont play it.

What the writer failed to convey in his off-base comparisons is that mix-a-lot was just one lane during his era. He wasn't the WHOLE FUKKING HIGHWAY!!! That is the major point these young dudes be missing. There is actually a lane for Future, but the lack of creativity and versatility of the genre is actually whats killing it! Hate all you want, truth is truth :manny:

These young cats deliberately miss the point so as to goal-shift to cover up their insecurities. Older rap has routinely proven to have staying power but let these newbies tell it: "you're unfairly picking on us! You were just as wack, if not wacker!"

This is hands down one of the best rap songs ive heard in the last few years

Sad that it didn't get mainstream recognition. Great message. Great beat. Amazing lyrics.

I heard this 2 days ago and literally :snoop:

This is what gets recognition:mjcry:
