The reason they fall apart is because they weren’t worn at all. Wearing nikes actually helps them from falling apart because of the lack of pressure on the soles or some shyt.

It doesn’t matter if you wear certain shoes or not. That’s a fuccboi myth perpetuated by people born after 1990. Shoes with foam based soles will fall apart at 20 years old if you running like that. Ive been collecting kicks for 20+ years and my 04’ Jordan 2’s started to crumble like that and I wore them regularly. My oldest shoes that held up and not fell apart are my AF1 Lux from 01’ because they are made in Italy and have unbelievable construction. At the very least, most Nikes have sole separation after ten years and you have to use Barge infinity cement to glue them back together.
