So, I went cheap on some replacement wiper blades at Walmart a couple months ago.
They would fall apart at this connection point, and then the blade parts would come apart.
This happened and I had to use the wipers because it was raining. The metal edge on one of the wipers cut an arc into my windshield.
I've replaced the blades since. All I had to do was spend an additional $2 for something a bit nicer. Man, I regret my cheap-i-ness sometimes.

Never go cheap on car parts if you can help it. You save a few dollar initially but end up spending more in the long run.

Having the same problem right now. What company(ies) would yall recommend for a quality blade? Thanks in advance.

I had crappy blades on my truck driving through a torrential downpour on the PA turnpike. Next, thing I know one of my blades just tore right off. Learned my lesson about buying cheap parts for my truck.
