Great video. Very underrated producer.
Dilated among rap groups? Man, that's a hard one. Oddly enough I didn't really like Dilated early on when that was the kind of music I was listening to. Then when I branched out of the Rawkus only type of music I got into them more. I used to always hate Ev has an rapper and now he's one of my favorites. Go figure.
Their last album 20/20 was I think probably where they really hit their stride and sounded the best, IMO. I think a lot of people that aren't die hard fans have maybe forgotten about them a little bit, since 2/20 was 7 years ago. When they drop Directors of Photography in late 2013 / early 2014 and it's a banger I expect a resurgence and maybe we'll see them discussed a little bit more on here. Or maybe not.
They are definitely one of the best underground rap groups ever, and they have a lot of classic material.

the new LMNO album that Evidence produced has certified him as a top tier beatmaker. It's even better than you'd think.
I was just thinking that how whenever there is a thread pertaining to hip-hop crews, Dilated is never mention, i think that first album was ehhhh to me. LowKey i feel like Rakaa Iriscience is criminally slept-on. Evidence has certain bars i like and some of his bars to me are #strugglestatus. Production wise Evidence is up their imo , wish he would do an collaborative album with Planet Asia, since they always on each other lps. Like he did with Prodigy.
As Far As Babu i feel like he could be on some Tony Touch or Dj Spinna shyt if he started revamping the Duck Season Compilation he had where Jean Grae, etc. was on it.

the shyt is awesome. even LMNO has tightened up his flow which used to be laughable. i really like the whole album. There's at least 4 beats that are AMAZING and the rest are all dope.
going to have to check that out.
