I'm okay with this looking at the menu he can choose from

If someone is complaining about this, ask yourself the question, who else he could fight which would make you happier?
Collazo? Kavaliuskas? Dadashev? Besputin? I heard Bud haters shytting on all those matchups before so I doubt that's what you would want.
The PBC guys are literally unavailable now (all have fights lined up) and even if they wouldn't be who knows if they would get the green light from Haymon to fight Crawford.
I hope they try to make that Crawford vs Swift again after this but until then Khan is a good option from the rest. A big name who Crawford can KO spectacularly.

Khan might fukk around and expose Crawford. I can see Khan winning this so long as he doesn't lose his head during the fight, get's reckless and loses his head.
Khan isn't a master boxer. That's a myth. He is a speed demon with bad defense who does well against anyone until 3-4 rounds and against those who can't get their timing down he likely wins. He doesn't have the best ring IQ so to speak...
He outboxed Canelo through 3 rounds or so but after that Canelo started to outbox him even before the KO.

Amir might do well first 3 rounds...Crawford seems to be very good at adapting.

this is a good fight because all Khan fights are exciting and he always looks good early. the fans will get hype and look at all the problems he is giving Crawford and then Khan's ability to be hit will increase as his movement wanes. Then he is going out. At the end they will say it was a good fight even though you know Khan is a heavy underdog.

Size played a role in the Canelo fight too that can't be denied. We all knew it was inevitable in that fight. To be honest I don't even think that fight should have been sanctioned. Crawford on the other hand............I agree with Thurman in that he's not established himself as a bonafied 147 lb fighter. While Benavidez wasn't a threat, and Crawford handled him accordingly, I get the feeling had that been pre injury Thurman, or Spence, or Garcia (either one), Porter, Brook, Pac, etc., they would have took his immobile azz out of here a lot sooner.

Bottom line is I'm not sold on Crawford at 147. There's a reason he stayed on the safe side of the street with Uncle Bob. If he beats Khan, and does so handily, I'll change my tune to an extent. Don't get me wrong either, I like Crawford but I'm not sold on the hype just yet.

It's not so easy to just leave Arum ask Mikey Garcia besides that I think he didn't even want to cause he got a big money contract from them and based on his experiences so far they moved him well, he probably trusts them that they can get him those big fights sooner rather than later.

Benavidez was a little immobile but dude fought the fight of his life, was collected like I've never seen him before, he was ready to counter anything Crawford threw at him.
Thurman, Spence, etc... had their fights too where they didn't stop or could only stop late an inferior opponent. I find Crawford impressive in 147 so far, his size seems ok for the division, he showed good physical power against Horn and his speed hasn't slipped.

But of course we gonna see how he does against the elite 147ers later.

Canelo vs Khan, sure the size mattered but Canelo actually started to outbox him too from round 4... Which is not a shame cause Canelo is also one of the smartest fighters right now but so is Crawford. Khan is basically a speed demon who throws 6 punch combos sometimes and fast both with his hands and feet but doesn't have the brain, the defense and the chin to match.

I like this fight. I actually thought Khan was 5'11 or so but he's actually smaller than bud length wise :jbhmm:
either way it should be interesting to see Crawford adapt to those blazing 1-2s Khan throws early on and this fight is better than the Collazo fight as well

I feel that Khan would be better off fighting Brook than Crawford. At least with Brook he has the whole UK rivalry and could still make a lot of money off of it. If he fights Crawford, he will just be another person on Crawford’s victim list.
