Craziest one I've heard to date is that, if/when it's humid and raining (or something like that) outside, it's because THE DEVIL SLAPPED HIS WIFE........................yeah.....

There's always some variation of this urban legend....
A group of guys are playing cards with the door open. A shadowy figure shows up and asks to join. Fear grips the room as he sits down. Not where if this is said anywhere else, but in Jamaica people use to claim that if someone walked over your head you'd stop growing and to reverse the curse was if the person who walked over your head, walk over your head the other way
