People in the comments said that the ref wanted the Mexican to win
I don't know if you can say that :russ: :pachaha: . He gave him 2 points off in that round for holding. How the hell is the Ref gonna know the Mexican dude was gonna do what he did after the point deductions lol
He didn't know THAT would happen all in the same round but the fight should've been stopped before any of it. He bought him time to recover.

I'm rolling with that because mexican cat got knocked down 3 times and technically 5 times if you count all the holding on for his life. But still was allowed to box. Whereas the breh got knocked down once and used the ropes to save him the other 2 times and still the ref said it was a TKO.

I'm not rolling. Ref did a bad job. It looked biased as hell and that's the nicest thing I could say.

And there was a hit to the back of the head, even announcer called it.

Ref was buying time… dude was about to have a 10-5 round if he hadn’t knocked him out in the end. If there is ever a point where the round is 10-5 it should’ve probably been stopped.

Fighter did what he was supposed to do though. Hold and survive. There was no reason for the point deductions

One fighter who holds after they get hurt buys themselves 2 minutes to recover.

The other fighter who tries to swing away after getting hurt gets stopped 30 seconds later.

That was the main difference.

It’s ugly, might cost points, but holding in boxing gives you the best chance to make a comeback or survive the round. That was tech tape honestly.
