Three months into my post-grad life, I got dumped. I’m talking blindsided, never-saw-it-coming-level dumped. Of course, before I was dumped, I did have an eensy-weensy bit of a crush on a girl I worked with. At the time, I was an intern at a fairly big company (paid, full-time, but an intern nonetheless), and she was five years older with an actual career, albeit in a different department.

So, about two weeks after my breakup, we went out for post-work drinks in a group, and toward the end when it was just the two of us, I basically told her point-blank that I thought we should hook up. She was taken aback at first, but then she gave me her phone number. A few days later, she texted me to meet up, but I was busy that night.

Long story short, the next weekend, we drunkenly hooked up at my place after going out with our respective friends, and it was pretty great. She was a high-quality bedmate that helped me get my first rebound out of my system. Afterward, we got close to hooking up maybe one or two times, but then we both started dating other people. I know a couple dudes that work management in warehouse, because of high turnover they always hiring people and the women just throw themselves at them to try to move up quickly to get out of the harder positions as fast as possible. We be laughing at the crazy stories these dudes be having, fukkin girls who BF work there also, married women, girls who messing with 2 managers because they tryna secure they spot, the stories are WILD. Them dudes job better than the club, we be rolling telling jokes like this dude get paid to hire and put chicks on casting couch type shyt. Best job in world, lol.

Just off a couple of my people I would put over a hundred stories easy in last decade. The turnover is soo high and they constantly hiring people, them boys in management be calling dibs on talent coming in. I guess its a lowkey thing many dont know about but them type jobs is SAVAGE, I wouldnt let my chick work there lol..

Just overall always be weary of a dude who got control over increasing your women ability to make money at any job.
