basically its an app like spotify which will allow local people to buy music for local artists

i want to ask wher can we store all those music , which server is the best to do

you're going to be looking at some crazy bandwidth costs bro. If you are just starting out with Congo then it will be good but getting stuff from Congo up to burkina may be a lil slow.

You should probably look at data centers based in south africa or maybe botswana, they'd likely have more of the internet infrastructure to be able to deliver your product at the speeds your customers will want.

Alternatively, if you have enough computers and a good (unlimited) internet connection, you may be able to start something by running a plex server out of your house or some centralized location between your group.

Lastly, running something through Amazon Web Services will get you the speed that you want but it'll be costly.

You should look into some of the information that Spotify released before it went public about its costs, and that will clue you in on how to make it work.

I think a start for you all would be setting something up like a Bandcamp, but have small teasers of peoples songs, rather than the entire song to stream.

I've been looking into running a bitcoin node and having it done remotely, I found a very cheap VPS service, they have a location in Johannesburg.

In looking further (during writing this post) I found this place SSD Nodes | VPS Cloud Hosting For Hundreds Less which is also cheap but they are only based in the US. OTOH they have a lot of guides for setting up stuff.

I think getting one of these VPS and setting up a nextcloud or sometihng like that and making a wrapper for the app that will aesthetically match your design / business until you get some revenue going to afford a real front end solution.

i would imagine that your future customers would want the service they are paying for to be fast. Is this something that you think people would want? Could this be an advantage in your market?
