Creative should package Ohno as a modern day Bret Hart

Ohno is arguably one of the top workers on the roster, both in NXT and the E. I think if they package him as a modern day Bret Hart, ala the best at what he does in the ring, it might work.

Just copy the template and make it different, in a way.

bret being the best in the ring worked because he was branded as a technician. at this point hero is way more of a brawler/bully type.

the bully shyt isn't gonna work in the land of the giants.

so he's just really a brawler, he's capable of other stuff, but this is WWE breh. they ain't gonna let him do his euro grappling shyt.

lets just hope he even gets a good push in NXT before we give him a bret hart gimmick.

You suggested they promote him like Bret Hart. Bret Hart with a huge pot belly is no longer The Hitman, the excellence of execution, the best there is etc.

Chris Hero's physique is incongruous with him representing "excellence" in the way that Bret Hart did or that, say, AJ Styles or Okada do now. Neither of those two are bodybuilders, but nor are they sloppy fat guys.

The best <any athletic activity> in the world usually isn't a sloppy fat guy.

I get your point, but remember, this is Vince we talking about, he cares about look, even tho Hero does have the size Vince likes. Knowing what Vince can be like, he probably considers Hero to be too lazy to get into shape.
