Gang banging was dying towards that area man at imo. I was raised off 6thave on the same block the marcus gravey high school is on before it used to be an empty lot for years.

I lived in south central LA while I was in middle school, and went to Horace Mann in the late 90s. I knew the video in the op was going to be a positive representation of young Black people, because that's mostly what it was when I lived there. Now every time I hear about LA, it's gang gang shyt. I never felt unsafe in LA back then. My friends and I walked around the city just having fun. Maybe it's different when you're grown.

Thats what im saying unless you was living somewhere like the jungles or certain hoods shyt was dying down on my side or at least it seemed like it was.
