but its petty crime that doesn't pay. At all. And once you got that record on your file, your life becomes a lot harder.

All these white collar crime fukks ripping people off for millions, the crooked stock brokers, high level drug dealers, their crime pays. Their crime is worth the risk. The risk/reward scheme with them is worth it.

Most people locked up are doing time for bullshyt. Burglaries, petty drug dealing, thieving, mugging, robbing, etc and that type of crime is for suckers. Ur doing over a year in jail for stuff you stole that was probably only worth a couple of hundred bucks? You could have easily made that kind of money doing something legit.

And then there is also junkies, but that's a whole other story. They steal to keep themselves high.

But yeah, this is a thought I had today. I thought I'd share it...

There are thieves out there that target the rich, specifically. Like robbing people that have millions worth of jewels in their house and stuff. At least bank robbers are looking for big scores, but that petty crime shyt is for the birds.

By the way, I don't condone crime or criminals, 9 times out of 10 you will end up in jail. I'm just saying, if ur gonna do time, at least go for a big score. There are people doing long sentences for bird feed and they could have easily made that same amount doing something legal.

I heard somewhere that the low level drug dealers make the same as someone working in McDonald's. Is it really worth it? For that?

Yeah, that could be a tempting amount to some. I guess if your making a G a night your more likely to take the risk. Still not worth it in the long run. Specially for the kind of sentences they hand out to people selling that type of shyt. Next thing you know, ur doing like 15 years or more.

There was this art thief in SF a few years ago..dude was mentally retarded..but he would walk in a gallery and grab a painting and walk out..when they caught him after a few years he had all the paintings hung in his house..they said he had good taste cuz he didnt steal paintings that most people liked..he stole the weirdest paintings..and you know what..they were worth the most

I read a story a few years back of some dudes breaking into Foot Locker or something and trying to steal Lebrons Now are u really gonna risk your freedom to try to rob and flip some tennis shoes??
