Super dope. Just came out on Netflix yall should check it out. Just three episodes

It wasnt't too long ago that I found out Times Square was really that bad and not what we see today. They have tons of historic footage and honestly it makes you wanna check out that period in time. NYC had a sense of grit that can't be replicated. I doubt anyone was alive or old enough to witness that period

I really like how when they interviewed people the ambience and lighting made sense for the docuseries

Didn't even know of the story. Def check it out

I finished yesterday and was shocked to find out what a cesspool Times Square was.

My mother in law is from NYC and she confirmed it :scust:

Live sex:scust:
Orgy establishments :scust:
Peep shows:scust:
Sex out on the open:scust:
Cops didn’t give a shyt :scust:
Human trafficking:scust:
Murders :scust:
Just out right degeneracy :scust:

I’m sure a lot of people got away from doing bad things back then it was chaos

Glad the killer was caught, that piece of shyt

NYC use to be hell on earth 70-80's was literally hell.

It still is now if you aren’t financially comfortable.

But NYC from the 60s to early 90s was dangerous for anyone that didn’t live in an upper east or west side building.

There is just something about the old NYC that stands out. Seems "less fake" and a story behind it. Could apply to a lot of places. Now everything is just a franchise

My mama lived in Jamaica Queens in the mid 70's and worked in Brownsville, she told me some stories about Times Square circa 1977 a while ago. Next time I see her I'll see if she drops any gems :ehh: Main thing I remember is that it sounded like the Tenderloin with more hookers and scammers.

Yeah I just spoke with my mama on the phone earlier and I asked her about it again and she said the same shyt lol. She also said you couldn't trust the meat in the food-stands, she bought a kebab from a food stand there and as soon as she bit into it she spat it out and knew it was rat meat :gag:

The main thing she remembered though was the smell... :scust:

And I was wrong about the year, she was there 1979. She remembered that because it was the summer a lot of people were getting pushed off of the subway platforms into trains

Is it me or was the killer reveal mad anticlimactic?

like I’m watching it and out of nowhere they mentioned his name like they didn’t really show them piecing it together until after they knew it was him

That through me off ….maybe i watched too
Many forensic files i don’t know

Checking out the first ep. :dead: at the Anita Nympho porn title.

I hope this is a continuous docu-series. There’s quite of few sick b*stards they can run shyt on.
