nah no time im on informal probation plus i have the opportunity to get my record expunged so i am a lil better off then most in my situation but it was a burglary charge so it even harder to get a job than a normal felony

my boy who was in prison for 6 or 7 years got his ged or something in there but he went right back in this year for aggravated rape of a minor. His initial crime was robbery. I'm like, what's next? He in alabama too....he trying to do a real life "life"

I passed background checks with some serious non violence drug charges on my record, most criminals don't get caught or snitch they way off anyway. i just check no on criminal history on apps if their interested in me as a employee am gonna make them base it off my work and experience and not on my pass. (if you can get your record expunged asap) my expungement is in the works!

I can't work for the state or city thats the main reason why am getting my record expunged

my peeps is making bank right now as Iron Worker the other as a Pipe Fitter both Union Jobs starting at $20 an hour

Unless you starting your own business or go in to a trade your stuck making minimum wage, But a lot of people choose to keep themselves working for minimum wage with a clean record

I caught a Felony for Possession with Intent to Sale (I took a Case for my best friend, because he got busted due to my stupidty) although in retrospect I should have just kept my mouth shut


After Conviction, when on to get my Bachelors at top 30 University, I also got my Felony Expunged... In most states you can get your Felony Wiped off your Record once you finish Probabtion as LONG AS THAT FELONY IS NOT FOR A VIOLENT CRIME

If you have the option to get an Expungment, ABSOLUTELY DO IT.. Because you Can legally State you have never Been Convicted of a Felonious Crime on any job App once the Felony has Been Expunged


Since my Conviction some 10 years ago.. Ive gotten my degree, got my Felony Expunged, and have been working in Corporate America the last 7 years

So its def not the end of the world..

But Getting my Felony Expunged was def the Biggest Game Changer

and you can't go get your record expungement and go an buy a gun since it doesn't restore your right to bear arms unless you get you felony dropped to a misdemeanor then dismissed which its like you were never charged in the first place.

Suggest you find a good old white lawyer for $700 - 1000 to due the expungement for you or find a community based organization who will help you with the process

i was talking to a city worker who had got 2 felonies and 4 misdemeanors dropped so anything is possible

good to hear my nikka i have the chance to get my record reduced to a misdemeanor and expunged so i feel good about that the only thing i trippin about is private sector background checks i heard they dont update thier records so i could have it expunged but it could still show up as not
