I think it is funny how much time Cornette has gone on and on and on about how shytty other bookers are when as a creative power, the only relevant thing he has to his name is the OVW 2002 class, and this guy was booking John Cena as a robot who ran his promos in reverse and Batista as a monster with fangs from 1993.

It was out of step from the jump (allegedly intentionally, but Cornette was also booking Ninja Turtles and other cartoon characters and contributing to that cartoony shyt in WWF at the time as well). Much of the shyt he complains about with Russo, he was also involved with, his time involved with creative for both TNA and ROH pretty much was the beginning of the end for both.

I think Cornette is angry that he never got a chance to really run things in a big wrestling company. Whatever bad or good ideas he had, I do understand his frustration when you have to work with higher ups who are dumber than you.

As you mentioned, he definitely wasn't consistent in his own booking ideas. How do you go from teams like mid 90s The Gangstas, which was a fresh idea that other companies eventually copied, to booking a damn Batista as a fukking outdated Leviathan character in the 00s, lol.
