Listened to this yesterday for the 1st time--- I don't know how I'm feeling about this... On one hand, it's one of his most cohesive projects, then again since this is an album & not an EP, I feel he should've made it a little bit longer, especially because some of the songs are kinda short and the EP's he has released (from 08 to 2012) are damn near as long as this.
That being said, it's a solid album (that said after 2-3 listens). I hope he continues releasing this type of "longer" projects more. I'll gladly buy these (I gotta try to find that physical copy of this somehow too). Maybe with different concepts too, because this has that whole more typical album vibe where there's some bangers, couple of deeper songs, couple of more "lyrical" songs etc.. Which makes sense I guess since he said this is also supposed to be "introduction" album to his newer fans.
"In None We Trust EP" was my favorite 'newer' project by Crooked, this is imo up there with that. I fukked w/ Psalm 82:6 too but I kinda wanna say I like INWT & this project more because the sound is more cohesive.
