I'm mean, the Chi did birth Kanye, Lupe and Chief Keef. I was a fan of "Rodeo" by Crucial Conflict as well.

nikkas swear they bit off bone, but here's the thing with me: cleveland i don't believe had a scene where the majority of rappers have that double time flow in general, where as we (the chi) had these type of rappers before bone (twista) and after bone (lil herb)

The Final Tic is ONE song away form being a flawless classic album. Just getting My Money sticks out like a sore thumb amidst Wildstyle's expertly crafted, purely nihilistic wild west sonic landscape.

Apart from that, perfect 5/5 album. If Desperado doesn't make you feel comfortable with the thought of killing someone then you just need to stay yo fakkit ass in the house.

I agree that "Just Gettin' My Money" sticks out, but it was hella West Coast so I loved it.

The only things that kept it from being classic was (1) "Get Up" was redundant imo. It was like a less tight version of "Showdown". And (2) it didn't really have a good closing cut. But really, those can be fixed by re-sequencing, and I still love the album.

it wasn't so much the fast rappin. that chit been around since kool moe dee.

it was moreso the fact that you saw 4 dudes with braids, harmonizing while doing double-time. one of them having a super-light voice.
