This got me wondering what's gonna happen with dikkey and trades and all that. If Niese would get traded (even though I wouldnt want to :manny:) for Wil Myers from the Royals, ah man :ohlawd:.

I don't know

I would like 1 just 1 season of seeing

dikkey,johan,gee,niese,wheeler,harvey

just one season that everyday you know you'll have a pitcher looking at batters like:shaq::whew:

Wright owes about 25% of the contract to this fickle fanbase that would have started crying if he was traded

I just have a feeling that, the mets will be in play for Hamilton.

Not at all, 2013 has already been thrown in the bushes, as they won't make any significant moves in FA. If we sign a Corey Hart or Kendry in 2014; get one or two #5 pitcher/s to be our insurance pitchers, then we're a legitimate team in 2014(might fukk around and win the division). I doubt both Harvey and Wheeler to be aces, but I do believe one of those guys become a solid pitcherI I doubt ace, but a guy that gives you 170+ innings and a 4 ERA) while the other is a bust. For all intents in purposes, the Mets can't move our few proven players and Wheeler and Harvey(except dikkey, unless he gets extended, you must trade him) for prospects or a outfielder, as we need to hold to our few proven players.

The latest I heard on dikkey was that he's agreed to a 2 year deal, and they're talking numbers right now.

David Wright’s new contract is somewhat more front-loadeded than it is back-loaded, tweets Mike Puma of the New York Post.

According to Puma, Wright wanted the Mets to have as much flexibility as possible.

However, the Mets ultimately lowered the amount of deferred money in the deal, although Wright allowed the Mets to pick which years money would be deferred.

:ohlawd: The Mets are lucky to have a dude like this.

Glad to see they did the right thing and locked Wright up, and I`m happy to hear that Wright didn`t demand too much.

I wore my Wright jersey today with pride.
