I loved this game as much as I hated it. shyt used to drive my brother, cousins, and I to ugly tears and Rocky IV style fist fights.
You finally expose your best soldier from cover to charge at an enemy, thinking you had him dead to rights… Only to find that your withering fire is just under ranged, a rocket propelled grenade hits you, and you turn into a skeleton smh. Then you don’t have anybody left but the fake chuck norris who can throw dynamite sticks 4 feet away smh.
I NEVER let anyone borrow it because it was a beloved addition to our sega game drawer.
I assumed EA just kept the rights and mothballed that shyt. I didn’t know the creator was trying to make a sequel. Unfortunately they only got like $12,000 out of their $125,000 kickstarter goal, back in 2013.
After some googling I saw that they had a “big announcement” ready for earlier this year. Hopefully it’s about a big publisher funding it.
It looks like it will be trash but hopefully it will be the same kind of hilarious trash that the Og was.
