Option 2) Keep Dirk - NO Chance to get Wiggins or another good player, Franchise swim in mediocrity, missing the playoffs for 3 to 4 years, while Dirk rots and retires, or signs to another team anyway.

Fill the rest of the roster with rebounders/shooters/defensive specialists.. Kobe gets his 6th ring and cements himself as top 5 GOAT (all time leading scorer, 6th ring, 3 FMVP) and doesn't get accused of ring chasing. Many in Dallas are actually thinking the same thing. We've gone through this mediocrity trip with Jerry Jones for 15 years. Time to right the ship. Get some value out of Dirk while you can in the form of picks. I think Cuban thinks we aren't smart enough to get this, but I disagree. Just listening to sports radio, talking to people, reading comments online, the fans would be in huge support of getting some value for Dirk and having a strong draft position in this strong upcoming draft.
