And it is silly to ignore the interference other countries, especially the US, had on African countries.
I know all about that. No one is ignoring it. I just laugh every time because yall supposed to be the "enlightened" "well traveled" citizen but you're ignorant about what went down over here. You know everything else, but not what happened over here and then talk like you know it. But me the supposed ignorant American knows about what went down overseas and tries to learn and understand. I posted that because I knew one of you was gonna make a solipsistic response like you did

Then yall come here and call us ignorant to cover your own ignorance.

We got economically sabotaged too over here too. So yall talking about a head start is fukking stupid. You don't even have to go that far back, pick 2008 or Katrina

I've just seen mad comments directed at me, but none @ing me..:mjlol:

Again, I don't really believe AfrAms got some head start. I just threw the same line of thinking you brehs do all the time. In this thread you have people saying all sorts; only successful Africans come to America, to Africans can't fix their own countries, to Africans are fleeing their countries, to Africans are white supremacist beneficiaries (the unmitgated gall and irony of it :mjlol:).

The moment you throw that same type of energy their way, then nikkas want to start crying. The nerve. White folks have really taught y'all well. You've become really skilled at these microagressions.

You are xenophobic against Black Americans

I am black American, what are you talking about. At some point we have to be honest about the situation, which is that we're behind everyone and I really don't see anything changing. There's a changing of the guard coming and it doesn't benefit us at all.

We're NOT behind everyone though. We're on par with every other black group that's in their homeland. Better off than many, actually. Quit letting these folks make these intellectually dishonest arguments about their 500k surpassing our 40 million. Always compare apples and apples. Ask them how successful they are at home and watch the deflections begin.

You need to develop reading comprehension skills not put words in my mouth. Globally, whites and non-blacks, have assassinated black people's character.
The big difference between black Americans and Nigerians is that Black Americans don't go to these places where Nigerians are mistreated( Europe, Nigeria, Asia, M.E) and talk down to Nigerians and cozy up with the power structures who's oppression Nigerians. Everything else you said is bullshyt.
What are black Americans largely considered inside and outside the US?
:dead:

What a wild statement breh. Using white stereotypes against Nigerians while pretending the same stereotypes aren't said about us as black Americans around the fukking globe

From my vantage point I see one group here that largely values traditional family structure - marriage, two parents in the home - and values education on every level. Africans. And then I see another group that has been dismantling the most basic of relationship norms and creating a destructive single parent household system, while often not taking education as seriously as any other group in this country. IE us. How do you think this game ends? Especially as white people lose power/population and are replaced by groups that are not influenced by white guilt? Hispanics are taking over multiple sectors of the economy and are not hiring black Americans, while sending their children to college. Africans are flooding universities, taking over businesses and are NOT hiring black Americans.. Asians are flooding universities. The only way this ends without drastic structural and MENTALITY changes is African Americans becoming a permanent underclass with reduced political power on the state and local level.

But instead of talking about that we've got agents pushing weirdo separatist views.

Your whole post is claiming I claimed this and that when I never claimed it. This is the problem: some of y'all love to conflate one group with another. Most immigrants will have no problem claiming that some are speaking out of ignorance. In fact, we have had a few threads where immigrants themselves claimed as much and even there, there was push back from a decent number of ADOS gang supporters aka ADOS extremists (as opposed to normal black Americans who aren't bothering anybody). We will lay out how such ignorance takes root and it is thrown back in our face. Even more, you have many African posters who are not only cognizant of the economic sabotage of your group but have commented on it. Most of us want context in these discussions since that is why these conversations go off the rails in the first place.

In any case, I avoid these conversations because I'm honestly convinced a decent number of y'all want non-ADOS people to literally burst into flame and die and it feels like I am wasting my time talking. This whole thread is about a simple cultural center and people still caught feelings. No mention of ADOS, no denigration of them, no mention of anything other than a group saying they want to help the more disadvantaged members of their group and this made people mad. I mean really now.

If we're so insignificant, then why call us a wedge group and act like we're going to destroy anything? Your talking points make no sense at all. And some of us are successful at home and here. This applies to many immigrants yet it is only the black ones that seem to garner your ire. Telling as fukk.

Also, that is some dangerous logic since it plays well into the hands of white supremacists. They will say "the best blacks the world over can do is is due to slavery" be it the culture that arose from it, or the slave-master's genetics "raising" blacks up. This is something that other non-black groups think, as seen in Ham's Redemption, and thus this just reinforces it. If you claim that you built this and that, they will claim that they made the blueprints and that you were just labor. There's nothing wrong with being proud of one's group but there is a danger in denigrating others in the process in a manner that can easily be seen as racist.

When did I call anyone a wedge group? Did you mean to quote me?

It is a common complaint from many people who complain about Africans for one reason or another. I don't understand being upset with a group one would consider insignificant by any stretch. It doesn't make any sense.
