Culture c00ns?
I've seen posters on this site and folks in real life say statements like "I prefer to date Afro Dominicans over African Americans because they ___________" meanwhile these people are full African American born in bred.
My thing is, how can you be raise in a Afram house with Afram parents and culture and not prefer those that are closest to you?
I think the underlining reason for culture c00ns is that deep down they associate Aframs and anything connected to it as bad. Deep down they believe the Western propaganda that African Americans are the lowest of low. They think because they prefer to date Afro- Dominican's/ Puerto-ricans/ Colombians/Asians etc. that it somehow excludes them from being a c00n because they are "black" and apart of African diaspora.
Western media perpetuates ideals that African diaspora outside of America is "exotic" culturally and physically. When a lot of times them mofo's look just as "Black" if not more African based then Aframs but we picture Eurocentic ideals of a Afro-dominican, Afro puerto ricans, Afro-canadians etc.
I think it's low-key c00ning. What do you guys think? c00ning or not c00ning?
