Crime has been dropping right back down to pre-pandemic levels for the past year and a half....EXCEPT for on the subway, where it's decreased only slightly. That's because they got four and five cops waiting just outside the turnstiles and rarely ever anywhere near the actual platform. It drives me crazy.

Quick correction: I think car theft was up actually. The last time I checked, they were blaming it on new cars being easy to hack and unlock. Violent crime overall was dipping fast.
