The only time Democrats give a damn about what black people think is when it's time to trot out Obama or Michelle and shame us into voting for them. Does Obama insultingly refer to Latino voters as cousin Jorge or uncle Fernando the way he invoked "cousin Pookie" and "uncle Ray Ray" when rallying black voters on the days leading up to his election and re-election? It's not free for all citizens. It doesn't provide tuition assistance for citizens still paying off loans. The out of state tuition is still in effect for citizens ... not illegals.

i live in nyc, and I've been against the Excelsior program since it was introduced, mainly because not only would I or my children not qualify for it, but we'd also have to pay for it via higher taxes. Nothing is really "free" here...

False outrage. Since last year, ALL New Yorkers who have a household income less than $125,000 can attend college for free at all PUBLIC universities in the state of New York.

Even with that in mind, if they got money for immigrants to get free schooling, then they got dough for reperations.
