I’ve been saying I should start looking into condos

But Los Angeles has some ugly looking condos
Once you experience living in a nice building in the right environment it’s way easier day to day, a house is a lot maintenance

Plus packages can’t get stolen cause you got a doorman

Moving furniture is easy you got an elevator

Anything get broken in the apartment, call up management and they fix it right away

My cousin in Atlanta went from a house to a condo and breh couldn’t be happier

Also kind of depends on situation. Working in Manhattan I know people with rent stabilized apts in the best parts for literally fractions of market rent. A guy on my team, his dad lives in the West village, for roughly 600/m, has been living there since th 80s. Son finna get that apt.

I know another, upper east side for 900, 2bdrm 2 blocks from Gracie Mansion.

I'm those cases, why not? Of course, many ppl in rent stabilized apts owned properties elsewhere.

If you got in in the early 2000s in a rent controlled apartment where a 2 bedroom is still <$1000 I would never leave.

I rent a house from the bank but some days I wished I was renting renting. It’s a never ending project, always something to fix, clean, or do over.

it depends on the apartment, just like it depends on the house. our apartment is ok but its kind of small. while i'd rather have a house i wouldn't wanna be on the hook to a bank, either. one benefit to apartments is you can break a lease a lot easier than you can deal with a mortgage. if i had a house, i would want it on a few acres for privacy. a house in a neighborhood would be cool as long as its not full of HOA types or rednecks. but where i live people are so flagrant with the Trump worship that even people in apartments got Trump logo feces in their apartment windows.

dude in the building across the way has a wall full of trump shyt. leaves his blinds/curtains open so people can see it. i have to see it when i go for my walk at night to smoke a J/blunt (im not allowed to smoke large amounts of weed inside) i always roll my eyes when i walk by. people are jackasses.

basically im saying try not to live around cacs (flyover plains edition: impossible). i do all right financially but i doubt were gonna be moving into a house anytime soon. :why:
