Both dope projects...

Gold and Chrome is my favourite joint on either tape...

But Spitta just seems to be more aggressive with his delivery on Directors Cut..and that's when he's at his best

So Directors Cut for me
Gold and Chrome is my favorite off either one too, but I think I might agree. OutRunners got me through a tough time in the pandemic so I'm really partial to it, but Director's Cut might be a little better. :patrice:

I wouldn't argue with anyone who has either in their top 10 Spitta projects...and when you think about how many dope tapes this fool has released over the years...makes you realise he's having a hell of a year.

Official album with Larry June coming end of this year start of next year aswell :ohlawd:

Album with Currensy and Larry? :wow:

Yeah I was wondering what my top 5-10 Spitta projects are and at this point I don’t even know. I don’t want to be a prisoner of the moment but both if these might be in my top 10.

you know what knight this is tough my brother, but i''m gonna have to roll with outrunners because i really love 90' iroc z, play it constantly. also a sleeper off that tape is in the coupe, was pleasantly surprised at how well him and jones meshed. both great projects though so i had to really think for a minute, word..

Outrunners
Iike the director's cut as well but that goofy ass trippie redd song was ass
Glad I'm not the only one that hates that damn hook.

@areohbee82 I listened to both again today and I think I'd break it down like this.

I think the highs on OutRunners are a little bit higher, and it almost sounds like a "Greatest Hits" type track sequencing. Director's Cut on the other hand may not have moments that sound as big or hit quite as high, but overall it's a more consistent sound and vibe throughout. And Director's Cut is maybe a bit grittier. Definitely not a winter album, but not as summer as OutRunners either.

No doubt. I think that's how I'm leaning too.

In the Coupe is fire. I heard Jim Jones and Harry Fraud were dropping a project together. Don't know if it's true or not but I think they sound dope together. Did you catch this that Jones also did with Fraud?

The Outrunners is dope. I like pretty much the whole thing. The directors cut is cool too but that Trippie Redd song:camby: This song goes
extra hard though

:whew:

I’m not a big Curren$y fan btw. Checked out the outrunners on a whim and liked it. Had to check directors cut

Have you tried to check his music and just didn’t? His stuff is an acquired taste but if you catch the vibe it’ll grow on you.

He’s not a lyrical miracle type lyricist but he’s good at painting pictures and setting a mood imo

Off and on. I don’t hate him or anything. I just don’t always look for his music. I loved the Smokee Robinson tape and songs here and there though. I think I’ll stay up on his latest stuff now since he’s definitely putting out some good stuff
