To some degree Scorsese applies the same template to his work yeah, but Spitta has a lot of tapes that are essentially continuations of one another (Weekend at Burnie's, Verde Terrace, etc.)
He's one of my favorite rappers out, but I think he's at his best when he steps a little outside his comfort zone.
