Thundercat's older brother Ronald Bruner Jr on the drums at 5:30. Entire performance a classic though. Christian McBride on the bass guitar is one of the best double bassist around.

And of course the legendary George Duke r.i.p

Christian McBride on double bass at 4:45 makes me want to go back in time and pick up a string instrument instead of wasting my time with the Saxophone

Y'all gotta check out this UK breh named Mansur Brown. He plays guitar and makes hip-hop influenced jazz music.

I was fukkin with his album heavy last year. Had some smooth joints

He's got a lotta collabs with these guys too

Just a beautiful jam session
:mjcry:

Yusef Dayes is a super ill drummer in my opinion. Breh be going crazy :wow:

Pino Palladino's son Rocco is with em too.

Mdou Moctar is another one of my favorite rising black artists

He's a guitar player from Niger that plays rock music inspired by his people's (Tuareg) traditional musical style

I've been digging through The Internet's discog lately, and I think they might become one of my favorite bands.

I always dug what they were doing cause I want to do the same type of music one day. Steve Lacy was my hero in high school. Breh the same age as me but producing albums on major labels. Dude was behind some of my favorite songs of the last decade. Plus, I always felt Syd was underrated as a singer. But shyt, :whew:

These cats is cold

If I had the chance, I'd join this band in a heartbeat

Farfetched of course, but I'd love to jam with them some day

That's be too ill :banderas:

More Cory, dude makes me want to throw out my piano sometimes lmao

Cory Henry is really the best musician of this generation. Been following him since he was a teen, playing in church. If you can catch him live, it’s worth going to see him, whether he’s by himself or with his band.
