Why?
I'm from NYC and I find it fascinating how kids from the hood get into football when barely any schools have teams sans the affluent catholic schools. A la Christ the king, mount st. Michael. All the great football schools are in jersey.

When I played, they were a guaranteed W for damn near every team they faced.
What they did was create a pipeline from the Brooklyn Skyhawks and other pop warner teams into Erasmus. My boy coached Curtis since he was 10......
