Real talk dude did something completely idiotic and I'm sure whoever owns the bank is mad as hell this guy wanted to play rambo. The robber would have made out with a ~$5,000 at most and it's not even his money. The bank certainly could give a shyt about that money either. Tellers are even instructed to not press the silent alarm/lock the doors until after the robber leaves the bank. The bank would lose a lot more money if the robber actually shot someone or took hostages than if they just let him take a few thousand and run away
