the irony of Ice Cubes version being heard first and then when Cypress dropped this song i was wondering "why did they jack cube's sh*t?"

Song still bangs. The subject matter was raw in 1995 but would be 'cliche rap' in 2012 coming from a new artist.

The remix with Redman, Erick and Eiht is one of those songs that gets stuck in my head for days!

Been crazy about that damn song since I was a kid. Used to go to school and play it for mad people, lol. That's always been one of those tracks that I probably play way too damn much.

Yup, truly one of the best remixes too

The days of having songs on an actual tape and having to rewind with it or fast forward to your fav parts lol

Definitely!

I taped this sh*t right off the radio, back in the day. LOL!! When Napster came around later, I ended up downloading it on there.

This is STILL my sh*t!

Bro, remember having to be fast as hell to hit both buttons to record the second the song came on:russ:

Napster, Limewire, Audiogalaxy and I know I’m forgetting some others

This song holds up so well, timeless man:wow:

I was trash at that! LOL!! I got tired of running back and forth to the radio. So I would hit the dollar store and buy mad blank tapes, and then just record whole shows and then dub from that tape later and make a "master tape" with just the joints I wanted off of the show.

Then I would sell them to the kids in school for $5. Straight bootlegging. HAHA!

But this is a timeless joint! I never stopped playing it.

Same here, I’d fall asleep at the radio sometimes if it was late :russ:

Before I had cable, I can remember listening to songs and wondering how a video would be for the songs lmao!
