i get that yall disappointed....but rose dont owe yall anything...a lot of cats on this board seem to be taking his not coming back personally...

not saying specifically you....

this is that nikkas life...not anybody elses....let the man live and play when hes ready....the only people who ought to have something to say is bulls mgmnt...since they pay this nikka...

This is exactly what kills sports these days. Rose owes it all to the fans of basketball. The Adidas deal came along because people like him and the way he plays. Nothing else. So, if people were praising you and looking forward to watching you play, you gotta accept the fact that people will voice their disappointment when you acting like a chump. Neggas like that are not athletes, they are just gifted neggas who happen to ball. As an athlete, you supposed to have heart and let the competition know you got more heart than skills. Skills will only take you this far. Look at Kobe for example. Look at KG. Old neggas playing through injury and itching to come back cuz their heart pumps competition and wins. Those neggas are athletes and yes Rose would never say it doesn't owe it to us because he knows he owes it to the fans.

As a professional athlete, success comes with sacrifices. So, that injury still not healing ? Or is he just sitting out cuz he don't wanna get shut down by the Heat boys ?

The funny thing is Reinsdorf has always said his biggest regret was letting MJ play in 86 after he was out most of the season with a broken foot. I don't see him being pissed at all about Rose being cautious returning from this injury.

re reading roses comments now. it just sounds like that my dude is shook. im no professional athlete. but when i had my injuries and have seen others with injuries... i havent seen many people who come back at actual 100 percent. that last 15 to 20 percent comes from actually playing

Rose has no confidence in his knee, plus with the different angles that the injury has been covered......it just seems that he is mentally weak. Just my opinion.

Plenty of athletes have suffered this injury, and the recovery time just seems to be getting shorter and shorter for some of these guys.

Although its apples and oranges.....look at a guy like Kobe. Hes going to be 35, in the twilight of his career......its a guarantee based on his work ethic and will that IMO he doesn't miss more then say the first month of next season

Exactly. Even if he were to come back now......his minutes would be limited, and he wouldn't be in any kind of basketball shape.
