Blake Griffin overrated. would be horrible to sign him to a long term big money deal.
You have to look at it as a tale of two teams. One being 11-30, the other 30-11. Now Im not saying this is a 60 win team, but the true identity of this team is closer to the one that won 30 games than the one than won 11. There's one championship contender in the East, one..maybe 2 budding competitors, and then everyone else. We're not as far away as some would have you believeThe simple answer to fix the team is blow this shyt up and have a legit rebuild. That's been the answer since 2014 when Bron left. Unfortunately this organization still thinks they can contend, this line of thinking will mean 2-3 additional treadmill seasons, before we're flat out awful. If I'm wrong and the Heat somehow make the Finals anytime soon, I'll be the first to admit it, but this team's outlook is very meek.

He's good and just entering the prime of his career. The question is: if you max Hayward you got two max guys but neither one can lead you to a chip, so can the sum of the parts make up for that? Mind you that likely means no Waiters and JJHow yall feel bout Gordon Heyward is he as good as people make him out to be?
Yea I agree but u know young players can't improve anymore cause we already know their ceilings :Lolmj3:He's good and just entering the prime of his career. @OfTheCross is right, the key to our success probably lies within. Especially with Winslow, if he takes a leap we're gravy. But for the right deal, and only the right deal, I would let TJ go, especially if he's packaged with McThief
We the only fanbase that think players are finished products at 20 years oldYea I agree but u know young players can't improve anymore cause we already know their ceilings :Lolmj3:

Yup and one clown think they ah prophet like u ain't predict 41 winsWe the only fanbase that think players are finished products at 20 years old![]()

pretty much, and that's assuming we didn't witness a contract year conI agree with you, this team as currently constructed is a 45-50 win second round team. The problem with that is the Heat can't become better than that ceiling. We all agree the Cavs are on the decline, however Miami needs multiple things to happen for them to come out the East.
Things that need to happen for Miami winning the East
- Bari can't bounce back from his injury, and Thon nor the other supporting Bucks' pieces improve(Brogdon; Middleton).
- Ainge never uses those BK picks to net PG/Butler
- The Wizards stop improving
Those three things need to happen at the same time for the Heat to come out the East, as well as the Cavs continuing to decline. The following above may happen, but it's unlikely, plus this core has 2-3 seasons to do it before we regress into a mid lotto team. I understand you nor everyone else surrounding the team(fans, front office) don't want to go through a rebuild, but that needs to happen so can the team can become a championship contender again.
