First of all, this was off Baby Talk 2 two years ago. And the song is good, I mean we know dude can rap:
If we're being true to the game, this "freestyle" was an admittance that he really isn't the best rapper as he claims. Granted, there are different views on freestyling, but I'm a purist, so "freestyle" to me means original and off the dome...
But I'm not one of these cats who think he the illest rapper anyway. He can rap. He's not the best...
Second of all, this nikka isn't a documented "hustler for years". He got charges on his record of being caught with ½ oz to oz of weed, getting caught with guns, and those charges only go back a few years. He was getting caught with smoke bags at 21-22, this nikka not documented as anything. nikkas holding the work not getting caught with smoke bags...
Third of all, off paper, yes, his reputation is that he was a weed dealer out in the burbs. He did decent for himself, there are people who verify that. And he was a "finesser", he stole and finessed nikkas in the burbs on trees. Baby never had more than 10 pounds in rotation (that's a generous estimate), which is decent money if you not trying to go kingpin and that's a good level to not get too caught up. But he also hustled with his brother, so this isn't 10 pounds all him...
This nikka isn't known by anybody to touch any other work, and like I said he wasn't even touching weed on a major level. None of his activities were in any of the areas in QC where shyt really go down. Which doesn't invalidate his experiences--->he really sold weed, kept guns, shot at nikkas. But like everything else in life, there's a spectrum on gangsterism. Him selling weed and shooting a guy in the suburbs isn't the same as doing that shyt on The Ford or Sugar Creek or The Valley or The Plaza, etc...
Dude is who he says, but the Walmart incident has allowed him to exaggerate his reputation. I said it before and I'll say it again, there are nikkas in Charlotte really known as hitters and real d-boys. His reputation is not one of them. He was just a rapping weed seller from North Charlotte suburb areas...
