People have short memories. He just needs to lay low for a few months, possibly drop a good feature with someone, and then drop a hot song of his own and people/venues/festivals will take him back during the inevitable album rollout.

those HUGE festivals are out for a couple of years minimum and that's not even to say he'll still be relevant then. you know how short music careers can be, esp in rap.
He can easily transition to movies and tv shows.

They really can't afford to lose him at the end of the day, it's temporary. He's number 11 on Spotify right now...unless there's a substantial dip coming there's no way in hell that this is permanent. He'll be fine.
He might have already gotten paid for a lot of them gigs anyway, as @CHICAGO said.
