People keep talking about the price of food. I’ve actually found that the price of food has started to return to regular prices. I buy a lot of pantry items from Walmart and the prices are starting to get back to normal. Even at Sam’s Club, where I felt the prices were getting ridiculous started to normalize prices again.

And as always, the Mexican grocery got good prices on meat :manny:

I wonder what happened to shopping around?

Don't pull out and then blame the world brehs

But looking at that list most of that shyt will go quickly. Make meals in bulk that last longer. Lots of rice, pastas, etc
Yep. If he lives in a house (I hope he does with 6 kids) supplement with chickens in backyard for eggs, they can eat the leftover food scraps. A few tomato plants and some greens and hopefully a few fruit plants (strawberries and grapes and watermelon) can also supplement the table. Truth be told he should be buying a lot of bulk chicken at restaurant depots for reduced prices and freezing it. Even Costco isnt the deal it used to be pre pandemic. I’d say Walmart for most staples and certain Mexican groceries for items he can’t grow with the aforementioned restaurant depots for large bulk items.

But god help this man, keeping a family of eight going in 2025 :francis:

I'm primarily in a household of one, and even I know to shop mostly at aldi's combined with sam's/costco.

and no one forced him to have 6 kids in 2025. u don't need an army to work your farm and churn butter.
